Monuments at Albis
The Church:
Supposedly it was built in Roman style in the XIII century. Its archaic style is represented by is due to the tower and wall, fortified by buttresses. The rarely used architectural style is very interesting, because the sanctum lies under the tower and it is covered by a Roman vault. The tower originally had 2 levels and a wooden spiral staircase outside which was the watchtower of the sentinels. The reason of this was that this tower represented the local donjon. The inside stairs is/were called 'killer corridor' because, according to the Roman architectural traditions, the stairs were built in the thick walls where, only one man could enter, facilitating the work of the sentinels. Its current state is the result of the 18 th century's alterations, when another one was added to the 2 nd level, where the bells were placed.
This kind of architectural style is extraordinary in our region, but pretty frequent in German and Saxon regions. This fact also proves the assumption that the village was completely destroyed by the Tartars and it was repopulated with the Saxons only under the reign of Béla IV, who brought with them their architectural methods and solutions. The church was built out of brick what is also a very special thing in this region.
World War Monument with the saker (Turul Bird)
It was built in 1943 and worthily inaugurated following the local cleric Saja Sándor's plans. On the marble tables of the monument were etched the names of the World War heroes. In 1945 the Turul Bird was pulled down and hid until 1990 when it was replaced. On the bare marbles in 2002 were etched the names of the World War II heroes because this was impossible between 1945-1990. Their memory was preserved by a marble plate placed in the interior of the Church.
Nearby this monument, few meters to the west, there is a wooden statue, erected on the occasion of the turn of the century. The plinth of it was created of concrete by the present overseer of the church, master mason Borbély Dezső, and the wooden headboard was carved by Györkei István, folk artist from Albis.

The Crucifix
In the Forest of Cetariu , which belongs to Albis' lathe, stands a 500-years-old oak. This natural relic is called by the people "The Crucifix", after the crucifix placed on it.
During the communist dictatorship, the forester's house from Cetariu became appreciated and also a favorite place of the local fraction. The only problem was that the Christian relic hit their eyes, so they commanded to take it off. According to the local rumor, those who took part/participated in this, made a bad bargain .
